Coins.ph at the PFF: Key Highlights

1. Coins.ph Booth: Sparking Conversations

From October 18 to 21, Coins.ph captivated visitors with an interactive booth that allowed attendees to engage with the brand, get some fun merch, and enjoy donuts in exchange for social media likes and business card drops. This booth served as a hub for discussions about crypto, Web3, and the future of fintech.

2. Blockchain Summit: Driving Education and Adoption

On October 19, Coins.ph moderated the Blockchain Summit, featuring prominent leaders in crypto and fintech. The summit showcased educational sessions on blockchain integrations, Web3 landscapes in Southeast Asia, and bringing Web3 to the masses.

“We plan to make the Philippines a leader in Web 3 not just in ASEAN, but globally. Digital assets and blockchain are equalizers and can mean financial empowerment. It’s a good place to start.”

This was further supported by Safepal CEO's Veronica Wong where she discussed Bringing Web3 to the masses. She says, “E-wallets play the most critical gateway to the web3 ecosystem, and it allows users to own their data to authorize certain access to that data. This feature plays in the decentralization of identity, where users are assured with another layer of privacy and security”.

Other speakers included Jocelle Batapa-Sigue (Undersecretary, ICT), Eprom Galang (Managing Director, Coins.ph), and George Michael Aransazo (WOO Network Research Analyst). The summit also saw insightful discussions from Loretta Joseph, a consultant at McDonell-Nadeau.
